Dr. Bahjat Abbas-Ali

Born in Kadhimia-Baghdad in May 1935.

Qualifications and Positions: 

1953 -  1958  College of Pharmacy and Chemistry  ( Baghdad ).

1962 – 1964  Courses in German language and Bacteriology (Berlin )..

1966 – 1974  Director of the Scientific Office of the German                                                Pharmaceutical Company EMerck –­ Darmstadt in Iraq.   

1974 – 1977  Ph.D.in Biochemistry  (Nottingham – UK ).

1977 - 1978  M.Sc. in Experimental Pathology ( Royal Postgraduate.

           Medical School (London)          

1978 – 1980 - Assistant professor- College of Medicine - Baghdad.

1980 -  1981 - Scientific Researcher, Pharmacology – Univ. of Berlin.

1983 -  Pharmacist in Canada.
